The Medical Assistant certification program at Ridge Technical College provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the healthcare industry as medical assistants. Through a combination of classroom instructions and hands-on clinical experiences, students learn how to perform administrative and clinical duties, ranging from managing medical records to drawing blood samples. Upon completion of the program, graduates are equipped for a variety of entry-level healthcare positions and are prepared to sit for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) examination.
