Heartcode ACLS
Heartcode ACLS is the online cognitive portion of the Online Heartcode ACLS certification course for both initial and renewals. After taking the online course you will need to complete a mandatory skills check-off at our RESQ location which is included in the above price. This self-paced course is accessible anytime and includes online key code, skills practice and testing, convenient scheduling, same day AHA completion certification card, and automated renewal notice. Students can access course material for 24 months. You must complete the hands-on portion within 60 days of completing the online portion. All online courses are non-refundable.
AHA CPR for Teachers
RESQ Health and Safety provides training that meets Indiana Department of Education requirements for Teacher CPR/AED Training. This course is for individual teachers who are not affiliated with RESQ. Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years. During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED skills practice and testing.
AHA Heartsaver CPR AED for Individuals / Teachers / Workplace
The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
AHA PALS Provider Class
HeartCode PALS Part 1 is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. This program uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. In this environment, students apply their knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation to facilitate learning about pediatric advanced life support.
BLS Provider
The Basic Life Support Provider (BLS Certification) course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies that could occur in their work environment. This video-based course ensures consistent instruction which includes instructor-led hands-on practice to reinforce skill proficiency. Students participate in simulated clinical scenarios based on their practice type and location. Students complete BLS skills practice and skills testing and a written examination.
CPR AED First Aid
Heartsaver® CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills. Heartsaver® First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.
Hybrid Certified Nursing Assistant Classes
Resq Health & Safety Training* has a well-respected Certified Nursing Assistant program with a hardworking and thoughtful teacher. They are located in Indianapolis. The school focuses on offering flexibility for students; RHST offers classes that are part-online and part in-person. Although RHST is more known for its CPR training, it's CNA program is solid. It's 5 weeks long and requires students are at least 18 years old.
