Phlebotomy Program at Resilient Healthcare Academy

Resilient Healthcare Academy's Phlebotomy Program prepares students to become essential healthcare team members, mastering the critical skills of drawing blood and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This program uniquely emphasizes training resilient and adaptable professionals capable of thriving in the evolving healthcare industry through innovative learning, critical thinking, and compassionate care. Graduates are equipped with both the knowledge and practical skills necessary for a successful career as a phlebotomy technician, with hands-on training in real healthcare settings.

Program Details:

• Cost: Approximately $1,695.00
• Duration: 6 weeks, consisting of 84 hours
• Schedule: Delivered in-person
• Prerequisites: Must be 18 years of age or older, High School Diploma or GED, Proof of citizenship or legal resident status, Admissions test (English, reading, and math), No active felony (ARS32-1606) in the past 3 years without absolute discharge, Background check as required by clinical site, Drug test as required by clinical site, Covid vaccination or declination form, Flu vaccination as required by clinical site (certain times a year), Negative TB test or negative chest x-ray results no older than 6 months (TB Skin Test completed and read by the end of first week of class)
• Accreditations: State approved and WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) approved
• Career Outcomes: Prepares students for a successful career as a phlebotomy technician, skilled in clinical tasks, patient care, electronic medical records, and laboratory specimen handling.

The Sterile Compounding & IV Aseptic Certification class offered by Resilient Healthcare Academy is a comprehensive course providing participants with the knowledge and skills needed to safely and accurately prepare and store sterile medications. The course includes a combination of classroom lectures and hands-on activities that cover the principles of aseptic technique, sterile compounding, and USP <797> compliance. This class is offered at the Resilient Healthcare Academy located in Phoenix, AZ.

Jumpstart your healthcare career with our hands-on Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training!

Key Features:

What You'll Do:

As a CNA, you'll work closely with Registered or Licensed Nurses and handle vital tasks, such as:

• Fundamental nursing tasks like ADL's (Activities of Daily Living).
• Primary care for patients and residents who need assistance.
• Document daily vitals using electronic medical records.

Requirements:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Possess valid ID and Social Security Card
• Show proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Pass admissions test (English, reading, and math)
• Hold a current CPR certification
• Have negative TB test results no older than 6 months
• No active felony in the past 3 years for which you've not received an absolute discharge
