The Phlebotomist class offered by Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES (PWB) is an 8-week course that provides the education and skills necessary to succeed in the field of phlebotomy. Students learn to perform blood collections safely and accurately, in addition to receiving training on laboratory operations and customer service. Upon completion of the course, students are eligible to sit for the Associated Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam.
