The Certified Nursing Assistant certification class offered by Promise Healthcare Training Center (PHTC) is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful CNA. The class is held in a state-of-the-art facility located in Omaha, NE and includes classroom instruction, hands-on practice, and a final exam. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the CNA certification exam and become a certified nursing assistant.

A Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) is able are able to work in a variety of health care settings such as Nursing Homes, Assisted Livings, Hospitals, ambulatory clinics, doctor’s offices, home care, intermediate care facilities or child care. Our training is designed to meet Federal and Nebraska State Regulations for nursing assistants working in a licensed nursing facility.

With this course you are required to complete eighty-four (84) hours during the scheduled class dates and times. Certificates of completion are issued at the end of the class if all financial obligations have been met. Students are required to complete each clinical skill required by the State of Nebraska DHHS with 70% score or better and not miss a starred item. All clinical skills must be completed by the end of the course.

A Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A) is able to provide routine medications by oral, inhalation, topical and instillation routes with acceptable direction and monitoring. Medication Aides are able to work in a variety of health care settings such as Nursing Homes, Assisted Livings, Hospitals, ambulatory clinics, doctor’s offices, home care, intermediate care facilities or child care.

With this course you are required to complete forty (40) hours of the course during the scheduled class dates and times. Certificates of completion and Medication Aide Registration form documenting course completion and competency are issued at the end of the class if all financial obligations have been met.
