We are now offering the option to learn the Pharmacy Tech curriculum at home with a live instructor. Our "hybrid" course is a combination of online learning and 2 classroom meetings for hands-on skills with an instructor. This course provides the student with the skills that are important when assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Students will be trained on how to interpret prescription hard copies, pharmacy calculations, pharmacy laws, compounding, and packaging of medications. Students will be provided with the information on how to become a registered technician. Upon successfully completing this 15-week course (105 hours) the student will receive a certificate of completion from PMTC. Students may then register for the national certification exam given through the PTCB.
