Business Administration Management
Leverage the business knowledge you already have from your prior earned associate degree to complete your bachelor’s degree in a fraction of the time! This upper-division program provides students with the opportunity to further develop their skills relating to managerial expertise, communications, human resources, information literacy, and computer technology.
Dental Hygiene – AAS
Students of the Dental Hygiene program are prepared to perform preventive dental hygiene procedures including dental prophylaxis, dental radiographs, topical fluorides, anxiety and pain control procedures, oral health education, infection control procedures and dental office procedures. The A.A.S. program is offered in two formats: Full-Time: 5 semesters of full-time weekday courses, Monday-Friday; Part-Time: 6 semesters of part-time evening and weekend courses. They complete this training in a state-of-the-art clinical setting, the Community Dental Clinic at Plaza College. The Clinic is a community-based clinic that accepts all patients requesting dental hygiene services with no qualifying criteria. Students treat patients in the clinic under the supervision of licensed dentists and dental hygienists.
Nursing
Plaza’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing is designed as an upper-division program whereby students will apply 60 previously-earned credits to 60 core nursing credits to complete the B.S. degree. The B.S. program is offered in two formats: Full-Time: 4 semesters of full-time weekday courses, Monday-Friday; Part-Time: 7 semesters of part-time evening and weekend courses. Students may gain access to this highly sought-after Upper Division Nursing, B.S. program through one of two tracks: Direct Entry: Students who already possess a prior degree (Associate or Bachelor) or at least 60 college credits and have taken the required prerequisite courses may apply for direct entry into the B.S. program. Foundational Entry: First-time college students and those who do not possess a prior degree and/or the required prereqs may apply for acceptance into the Allied Health Science, A.S. program to complete the requirements to qualify to apply to the B.S. program.
In person Medical Billing and Coding Classes
Plaza College offers a Certified Medical Billing / Coding Professional class to help students gain the skills and knowledge needed to become a successful medical billing and coding professional. The course covers topics such as medical terminology, coding systems, and reimbursement procedures. Upon completion of the course, students will be prepared to take the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam and become a certified medical billing and coding professional.
In person Dental Assistant Classes
The Dental Assistant Certification program at Plaza College is comprehensive and hands-on, providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the field of dentistry. Students learn about dental terminology, anatomy, and disease processes, as well as essential dental office procedures and patient care techniques. Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the Dental Assistant National Board exam and enter the workforce as skilled dental assistants.
Medical Assistant Associate's Degree
Plaza College's Medical Assistant certification program provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the healthcare industry. The program covers fundamental topics such as medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and hands-on clinical skills. Graduates of this program are equipped with the tools needed to be successful medical assistants in a variety of healthcare settings.
Office Assistant certification
The Administrative Assistant certification program at Plaza College is designed for individuals who want to excel in an office environment.
