In this certificate program, you will gain the knowledge and training to work as a capable entry-level veterinary assistant. At Pima Medical Institute, courses address both clinical and administrative skills, including but not limited to animal nursing, surgical procedures, laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging and in-office procedures. Graduates of the program will be able to proficiently assist veterinarians with caring for animals in a variety of settings.

Whether you are interested in the dental, medical assisting, radiography, physical therapy or respiratory therapy industry, we have programs to fit almost any student’s needs. We also boast the only laser-eye surgery – ophthalmic medical technician – program in Colorado and surrounding states.
Our Denver campus is conveniently located near the I-25 and US-36 (Denver Boulder Turnpike). As is the case at all of our campuses, students receive hands-on learning opportunities with instructors who are focused on your success and prepare you for a real-world healthcare career.
