In this certificate program, you will receive the training needed to work as an entry-level position as a nursing assistant or nurse aide. At Pima Medical Institute, our courses cover a variety of subjects, paralleling the diverse responsibilities of nursing assistants. Clinical topics include infection control, emergency procedures and basic nursing skills, while professional abilities, such as communication and interpersonal skills, are also addressed.

We also boast the only laser-eye surgery – ophthalmic medical technician – program in Colorado and surrounding states.
Our Denver campus is conveniently located near the I-25 and US-36 (Denver Boulder Turnpike). As is the case at all of our campuses, students receive hands-on learning opportunities with instructors who are focused on your success and prepare you for a real-world healthcare career.
