This course is designed for students with at 40 – 1040 hours of on-the-job phlebotomy experience* and are seeking to obtain a CPT I license. It includes the 20 hours of Basic Phlebotomy Didactic and 20 hours of Advanced Phlebotomy Didactic required by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and is offered during the week and on weekends. Students will also need to pass the National Exam for Phlebotomy Technicians in order to be eligible to apply for a CPTI license.
