After successful completion of the practical nursing program, graduates will be eligible to apply for licensure as a practical nurse through the state licensing board. A student who resides outside of Virginia and plans to apply for licensure as a practical nurse subsequent to completion of this education program must comply with the licensure requirements mandated by the student’s state of residence.
