Upon completion, graduates are well-equipped to sit for the State Exam and obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant.

Program Description

Our curriculum offers 125 hours of comprehensive training encompassing:

• Fundamentals of healthcare systems and health occupations

• Legal and ethical aspects of care

• Patient care skills, including vital signs, anatomy, and physiology

• Infection control, safety, and security procedures

• Nutrition and patient plan of care

• Interaction with families and understanding cultural diversity

• Geriatric care, death and dying, and care for impaired patients

• Understanding of Alzheimer’s and other mental disorders
