The Surgical Technician certification program at Orange Technical College - Orlando Campus is designed to train students in the skills and techniques needed to assist surgeons during operations. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, students learn how to sterilize equipment, prep patients for surgery, and monitor vital signs during procedures. After completing the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certification exam.
