The Phlebotomist class offered by Onondaga Community College (OCC), located in Syracuse, NY, covers the basics of blood collection and laboratory testing procedures. The class teaches the skills and knowledge necessary to become a phlebotomist, and provides hands-on experience in the classroom, lab and clinical setting. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the nationally-recognized ASCP Phlebotomy Technician Certification Exam.
