The Dental Assistant certification program at Ogeechee Technical College is designed for students with an interest in the dental field who want to learn the skills necessary to provide support to dentists and dental hygienists. The program consists of both classroom lectures and hands-on clinical experiences in a dental office setting. Graduates of the program will be eligible to take the National Board Dental Assisting Examination and become certified dental assistants.
