Hey There, Future Pharmacy Technician!

Welcome to the Northern California Nursing Academy's Pharmacy Technician Hybrid Program. Get ready to deep dive into the world of:

• Drug classifications

• Pharmacy calculations

• Pharmacy laws and regulations

Not just that, we'll train you to ace receiving and verifying prescriptions and preparing patient medications.

After you're done with the online theory part, it's time for some real-world experience! You'll need to complete a 160-hour externship at places like Walgreens, The Pill Club, and UCSF, and don't worry, we've got that sorted for you.

Once you complete the six-month program, you'll bag a Certificate of Completion. What's more, you can apply for a License at the California State Board of Pharmacy right away.

And guess what? We're a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training program, so you can apply for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) once you're done with the program.
