New Orleans Safe Driving School
This course is required for anyone 18 years of age or older who is interested in obtaining a driver’s license for the first time. It includes 6-hours of classroom instruction, the written test, 8- hours of behind-the-wheel training, pick up and return for the driving time and the final road test. The classroom instruction is held on Saturday from 9:30am to 4:30pm at 2522 Tulane Avenue New Orleans, La. 70119. A payment of half must be made in order to book the classroom portion. The behind the wheel training is scheduled between the hours of 8am to 7pm. You must have the TIP card in order to take your written test and schedule the driving portion. The balance is due before the driving schedule is made. The final Road Test is offered on Monday and Friday beginning at 9am. All Road tests must be completed by 3pm.
The CDL-B program at New Orleans Safe Driving School is designed to train individuals to become professional medium-sized vehicle drivers. The program provides comprehensive training on driving techniques, vehicle control, truck inspections, and road safety. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be well-equipped to obtain their CDL-B license and pursue a career as a commercial driver.
The Commercial Truck Driver class offered by New Orleans Safe Driving School (NOSDS) is a comprehensive program designed to teach students the skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional truck driver.
