Refrigeration & A/C Technology
The Refrigeration & A/C Technology program at New Castle School of Trades teaches students how to make things cold or make things hot. This program is designed to provide students with entry-level knowledge and skills to install and repair: heating, air conditioning, and commercial/residential refrigeration equipment. Motorcycle & Power Equipment Technology
The Motorcycle and Power Equipment Technology program at NCST’s New Castle, PA Campus can open the door to a career working with all the best grown-up toys. The 60-week motorcycle mechanic training school is designed to prepare students to diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble and repair motorcycles and small engines. It provides the nuts and bolts of what it takes to find a job and build a career servicing machines and gear that use small engines.
Automotive Technology
The Automotive Technology program at NCST is structured to provide the student with the entry-level job skills and knowledge necessary to enter the work market as an automotive technician. Graduates are prepared to maintain, diagnose, and service the vehicles found in the automotive industry. The program takes 60-weeks to complete at the New Castle, PA Campus.
Commercial Truck Driving
At New Castle School of Trades, students train to become safety-conscious drivers in the trucking industry. During the Class A CDL Training at the New Castle, PA Campus, students will be able to utilize a balance of classroom instruction and hands-on behind-the-wheel training. Students will be prepared to pass both the DMV written CDL exam and the skills test.

Electrical Technology
NCST’s Electrical Technology program is designed to provide students with entry-level knowledge and skills to install and service electrical applications within the residential/commercial and industrial fields. This training program covers in practice and theory residential/commercial wiring, machine control, programmable controllers, telecommunications, solid-state, and electronic control.
Combination Welding
The Combination Welding program at New Castle School of Trades in New Castle, PA provides students with a wide range of experience working with various welding techniques and metals to prepare for an entry-level welder position. Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technology

Building Technology
Students studying in our Building Technology program will learn the skills needed to build a building from the ground up. New Castle, PA students learn brick and blockwork, concrete work, framing and carpentry work, exterior finishing like vinyl siding, interior drywall finishing, and traditional shingle roofing. Students at the New Castle, PA Campus will also learn about proper building codes, material costing to provide a good estimate, as well as a little bit of business and finance. NCST students also learn other building basics such as the rise and run of stairs, framing in basic electrical and plumbing, reading construction blueprints, and installing doors and windows.
