The Middle School Learning Experience is for all Middle School Students (6th – 8th grade) in Cleveland and Cuyahoga County. Our goal is to ignite an interest in the health industry, by introducing students to various careers and skills. With the help of Virtual Reality and virtual coaches, students will have the chance to learn how to obtain basic patient vitals, assist at the scene of an accident, help with knee replacement surgery and more! Students will also have the chance to step out of VR and into real world health education environment and participate in learning labs. Through the completion of curated journal and reflection activities, students will explore who they are, the importance of building healthy relationships, making responsible decisions and begin to understand their purpose.
A Medical Assistant is multiskilled, multitasking health professional educated not only in clinical skills allowing them to provide direct patient care but also in administrative medical clerical office procedures. Students will learn to provide quality patient care and office procedures through class lectures, hands-on skills lab practice, and a 160-hr. clinical externship. This training program prepares the student to sit for and obtain a National Healthcare Association’s Certification as a CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) upon completion of the program.

The Phlebotomy certification program at New Bridge Cleveland Center for Arts & Technology is a comprehensive program aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become certified phlebotomists. The program includes hands-on training on specimen collection, blood draws, and other essential techniques. Graduates of the program are well-equipped to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam and become licensed phlebotomists.
