If you’re interested in pursuing a career in law, consider earning an Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies. In National University’s associate degree program, you’ll learn how to discover and analyze the facts of cases, research the law using the latest legal technology, prepare legal memoranda and persuasive documents, and effectively communicate with clients and attorneys while supporting them in legal matters. Working as a paralegal also can allow you to explore the legal profession for a few years to gain experience and begin your path toward continued legal education.
Paralegals are skilled legal professionals who perform many of the same tasks as attorneys but at a lower cost, making them an increasingly valuable asset for law firms looking to reduce expenses. As a paralegal, you will be a respected and essential member of a dynamic and influential legal team.
This program is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) and offered online. The program combines a comprehensive academic curriculum with practical education in the role of the paralegal in a legal environment.
Financial aid may be available for those who qualify.
