Nassau Community College offers an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class to help students gain the skills and knowledge needed to become certified EMTs. The class covers topics such as patient assessment, airway management, medical and trauma emergencies, and more. Upon completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification exam.
