Program Overview

This entry-level program equips aspiring medical professionals with essential knowledge and skills, laying the foundation for a fruitful nursing career. Approved by the Board of Nursing, the program readies students for licensure.

Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to take the Board Exam for certification as a Nursing Assistant.

Who Can Apply?

To apply for the program, prospective students must:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Pass a CNA Admission Test covering English proficiency, reading comprehension, and math
• Have no active felony (ARS 32-1606) in the past three years or unprofessional conduct (ARS 32-1601)
• Provide proof of citizenship or legal residency status
• Complete a Health Declaration, signed by a licensed healthcare provider, stating they meet all essential functions
• Sign a Voluntary Assumption of Risk – Release of Liability Form
• Pass a Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test or provide prior TB results no older than six months
