The Certified Nursing Assistant Program at MiraCosta College meets the state educational requirements for a Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of California. MiraCosta College has not determined if the program at MiraCosta College meets the state educational requirements in any other state, any U.S. Territory, or the District of Columbia.

The Automotive Technology Program prepares students for entry-level automotive mechanic positions and also provides training for persons already employed in the industry. Courses also prepare students for various state licenses and national certifications, including tests administered by Automotive Service Excellence

The Business Administration program (BUS) offers theoretical and practical courses for students planning to transfer as business majors, career and technical courses leading to certificates of proficiency and achievement, as well as courses to improve workplace skills. Business Administration, along with Accounting and Hospitality, comprise the MiraCosta College Business Department

The Medical Assistant Program prepares students for employment as a medical assistant under the direction of a physician or registered nurse in a clinical or office setting. The curriculum is designed to provide training in administrative (front office) and clinical (back office medical assisting skills). Instruction is given in basic medical office procedures, assisting with examinations, laboratory procedures, electrocardiography, and patient advocacy.
