The Medication Aide certification class offered by Mid-America College of Health Sciences (MACHS) provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and administer medications to the elderly and other individuals in long-term care settings. This course covers a variety of topics including medication administration, documentation, and safety and security in the medication room. Upon completion of the class, students will be prepared to take the state certification exam and begin working as a medication aide.
