MedStar Academy
MedStar Academy's Computer Network Administration Certified Professional class is a comprehensive, six-month program designed to help students develop the skills needed to become a successful network administrator. The course covers topics such as network design, security, and troubleshooting, as well as advanced topics like virtualization and cloud computing. Upon completion of the program, students will be certified as a Computer Network Administration Certified Professional and receive a certificate from MedStar.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program prepares students to take the Arizona Board of Nursing exam and receive their Certified Nursing Assistant License. Medstar Academy offers a hands-on training program that focuses on preparing students to take the Arizona Board of Nursing exam.
The Pharmacy Technician training program prepares students to take the Arizona Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam and receive their Pharmacy Technician License.
Medstar Academy offers a ten-week, hands-on training program that focuses on preparing students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. This is followed by a three week long externship at a Walgreens branch close to where the student lives.
The Phlebotomy Technician training program prepares students to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) testing exam and receive national certification in Phlebotomy. The total hours for our Phlebotomy program is 200 hours: 120 hours didactic and 80 hours externship.
