MAHTI offers the New Jersey Certified Homemaker/Home Health Aide Program, a 76-hour entry-level program designed to prepare participants for the approved examination to become a Certified Homemaker/Home Health Aide. Upon successfully passing the New Jersey State Board of Nursing approved examination and gaining approval from the Board of Nursing, students can pursue employment in nursing agencies, hospices, and various other healthcare settings, including private employment. This program is an excellent entry point for a healthcare career.

Program Details: The comprehensive curriculum includes 76 hours of training mandated by the New Jersey Board of Nursing. It covers essential components, including speech, occupational and physical therapy, CPR, dietary skills, and more, to equip participants with the skills needed to provide home care to the ill and elderly. The program also incorporates 30 hours of make-up time.

Upon successful program completion, students' test scores will be submitted to the New Jersey Board of Nursing, and students will receive certification from the Board of Nursing within five weeks.
