Los Angeles Skills Academy: Nurse Assistant Training Program

Program Details

This intensive training is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in nursing. Combining theory lectures and clinical practice, it comprises 60 hours of classroom instruction and 100 hours of hands-on training at a skilled nursing facility.

Student Responsibility

  • Need to have access to Zoom.us via a desktop, laptop, or tablet with a camera and reliable internet.
  • Provide own navy blue scrubs, white athletic shoes, and a watch with a second hand.
  • Complete a physical and TB test.

Course Outcome

  • You will gain practical skills to aid patients with daily living under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • This course can be a stepping stone to further your career to become an LVN or RN.

  • COVID-19 vaccine is mandatory for all healthcare providers and students, unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.

Los Angeles Skills Academy’s San Bernardino location is one of LASA’s 6 locations. There are a few different CNA class options to choose from, including weekend and fast-track intensive schedules. LASA also offers BLS/CPR classes.
