The Phlebotomy certification program at Lorain County Community College is designed to train students in the collection of blood samples from patients for laboratory testing. The program includes classroom instruction as well as hands-on training in a clinical setting. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the national certification exam to become a certified phlebotomy technician.
