The Medical Assistant certification program at Lone Star College is a comprehensive, hands-on program designed to prepare students for rewarding careers as proficient medical assistants. The coursework in this nationally accredited program covers a wide range of topics, including administrative, clinical, and laboratory procedures, as well as anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Graduates of the program will be well-equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in various healthcare settings, as well as to take and pass the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) examination.
