Liberty’s online Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Interdisciplinary Research is a flexible degree that allows students to tailor their degree around 2 areas of study instead of just 1. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary research, students can be better prepared to pursue a wide variety of careers or continue on to graduate studies to further refine their skills. Students can choose 2 areas of study that include 15 credits each to customize their degree. Some of the skills and abilities they can gain are grant or technical writing, research methods, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Additionally, their studies end in a capstone project that allows them to synthesize the 2 areas of study they have chosen. Depending on electives chosen and additional training or education requirements, students who earn the B.S. in Interdisciplinary Research may pursue roles as administration officers, foundation researchers, government officials, researchers, and writers. This can also be a great starting point for further studies at the graduate level.
Financial aid may be available for those who qualify.
