About

Liberty University’s online Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Government – Intelligence is designed to help prepare students to identify, prevent, and guard against threats to the homeland and American national interests worldwide. Our country’s government, military, and law enforcement agencies all rely on highly protected and classified information to make important decisions regarding national security. Through this program, students can become equipped to gather, analyze, and utilize such information in order to help manage crises, inform national defense planning, foil the efforts of our enemies’ intelligence agencies, influence international security measures, and much more. The B.S. in Government – Intelligence is a great option for students who are looking to enter the intelligence field for the first time – or who are currently working in this industry and seeking college-level training with the goal of advancing their careers. Some of the topics covered in this degree include critical infrastructure protection, tactical military intelligence operations, past successes and failures of the intelligence community, and ethics in intelligence work. Upon graduation, students can pursue roles as business intelligence analysts, counterterrorism analysts, criminal investigators, defense professionals, immigration or border patrol agents/analysts, intelligence agency professionals, intelligence organization analysts, program analysts, and more.
