Program Overview:

The Associate’s degree in Cloud Computing Technology program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for entry-level positions in the cloud computing industry. Cloud technologies play a vital role in modern businesses by facilitating the rapid development and delivery of various cloud-based services and technologies. Students in this program will learn to install, deploy, and troubleshoot software and hardware, applying critical thinking skills alongside industry best practices. The curriculum covers a range of topics including cloud software, cyber security, network infrastructure, wireless technology, IT support technology, and computer repair & maintenance. Graduates are prepared for roles such as Network Administrator, IT Consultant, Computer Technician, Information Security Analyst, and more.

Program Advisory Committee:

To ensure the program's relevance and alignment with industry standards, Laurel holds annual Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings with individuals familiar with occupational requirements. Changes to the program are made in consultation with relevant authorities.
