Program Overview:

The Associate’s degree in Accounting & Business Administration program is tailored to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for entry-level positions in various business roles. Students undergo comprehensive training in accounting, business organization and management, business law, marketing, economics, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat. The curriculum also focuses on developing supervisory and customer service skills, along with an understanding of human resources management. Graduates are prepared for roles such as Assistant Manager, Sales Associate, Bookkeeper, and Accountant, among others.

To ensure the program's relevance and alignment with industry standards, Laurel holds annual Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings with individuals familiar with occupational requirements. Changes to the program are made in consultation with relevant authorities.
