About

Nursing Program Philosophy: The core of the Inver Hills MANE Nursing Program belief system is to provide a quality student-centered education which promotes life-long learning. Faculty believes in facilitating an intellectual learning environment through the use of evidence based practice, innovative teaching strategies, and role modeling.

Students and faculty advocate for the community; understanding the diverse needs of the people we serve. We believe health is a dynamic process and vacillates individually and collectively. We believe nursing uses integrative knowledge and caring which requires a holistic approach that embraces the dignity and strength of each individual.

Educational Mobility: The MANE curriculum is designed as a dual admission Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program with the option to graduate with an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree after completing 75 credits. Students are eligible to apply and register for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam after completing five semesters (Benchmark-curriculum plan). Students who opt to graduate with an ADN may choose to re-enter the program after obtaining licensure to complete their BSN.

As a student in the Nursing Mobility (Licensed Practical Nurse) A.S. degree program, you will complete the required Nursing curriculum (35 credits) and the General Education Curriculum (40 credits) for a credit total of 75.
