Welcome to our Indiana State Department of Health-approved QMA training program.
Our online program offers robust training for those seeking certification as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA). Students complete their clinical requirements at an affiliated facility of their choice.
A QMA, having completed a state-approved 100-hour course and passed a competency test, is certified to operate under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Tasks within the QMA scope include adhering to physician orders for medication administration and treating minor skin conditions.
Our spots are limited, and registration is completed via a questionnaire and deposit system.
Students are required to procure a Nursing Drug Handbook (Saunders, Lippincott versions, 2022 or newer) before starting clinicals.
