The Practical Nursing Program consists of 1350 hours of instruction made up of didactic (603 hours), Laboratory (72 hours), and clinical instruction (675 hours). Students will perform nursing skills in the laboratory and clinical setting under the direct supervision of a registered Nurse instructor. Hands-On Learning Includes: Advance Nursing Skills; Anatomy and Physiology; Nutrition and Infection Control; Clinical experience in Medical, Surgical, Obstetric, Pediatric, and Geriatric nursing. Clinical experience in both Acute and Long term care facilities; Pharmacology and Administration of Medications; Basic Life Support (BLS) course.
