The Doctor of Nursing Education prepares MSN-prepared nurses to move into full-time nurse educator roles across academic and clinical training settings. Students study curriculum design, learning assessment, and evidence-based teaching practice, with attention to emerging tools such as AI-supported instruction and learning management systems. A scholarly project running throughout the program gives students the opportunity to design and pilot their own course.

Program Content:

The program requires 39 semester credit hours across 13 courses, completed in 5 semesters (20 months) full-time or 7 semesters (28 months) part-time. Students complete a 405-hour scholarly project throughout the program.
