Friendship Lodge is a three-story, 64 unit, affordable and supportive apartment complex on a 34-acre site in Johnstown, NY. The building has two residential wings connected by a central hub. It includes 30 units of affordable housing, 22 units of housing for those in need of supportive services and 12 treatment apartments. Residency in all apartments is limited to households having moderate to low income.(In addition to wages, income includes money from other sources, such as alimony, child support, pensions or social security.)

Medical and clinical staff are on-site 24 hours a day to assist patients in managing their mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms within a medically structured setting, providing a safe place to begin the recovery process.

Inpatient Rehabilitation

Helio Health Inpatient Rehabilitation is a NYS OASAS certified facility and offers a short-term intensive program for patients requiring a highly structured, supportive environment. Utilizing a multi-disciplinary team consisting of medical and counseling professionals, programming is tailored to the needs of each patient. Individual and group counseling are coupled with patient education. Length of stay is dependent on the patients individual progress and presentation in treatment. Length of stay can be up to twenty eight days. Continuing care coordination begins upon admission with referral to services in the patient’s preferred county.

Insights Residential Stabilization and Rehabilitation

A highly-intensive level of care for individuals who require a structured living environment during treatment. This certified 44-bed program is suitable for men and women who are experiencing dysfunction in multiple life areas. Individuals can be admitted to this program with a primary alcohol or drug diagnosis. The length of stay is individualized, based on the person’s needs. Referrals are welcomed from human service providers, courts, hospitals, medical practices, employers, probation, parole, self-referrals, as well as concerned family members. Stabilization – appropriate for men and women experiencing mild to moderate withdrawal. Treatment is provided in a highly structured medical setting. Average length of stay based on the individual’s needs. Rehabilitation – short term intensive program offering group counseling, individual counseling, and patient education. Average length of stay is up to 3 months as determined by the patients individualized treatment plan.
