Phlebotomy Technician program is designed to prepare students to become skilled entry-level technicians who work closely with doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals. The student will be taught safe practices of phlebotomy such as collecting adequate and correct blood specimens by capillary or venipuncture on adults, children, and neonates. The program consists of classroom, simulated laboratory settings, and clinical externship.
