Join us at HeartCert CPR Training for our Minnesota State Approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) hybrid program, a combination of online coursework followed by in-person classes.
Training Overview:
The program is hands-on, guided by experienced licensed nurses and aligns with federal and state standards.
The online coursework can be done at your own pace, ensuring flexibility.
We adhere to strict social distancing guidelines during in-person sessions.
Successful completion of the program qualifies you for the Minnesota CNA competency examination.
Graduation:
Upon successful completion of the state exam, you'll be listed on the state Nurse Aide Registry, ready to start your career as a nurse assistant.
The state exam includes a written examination and a skills evaluation, ensuring you are prepared for an entry-level nurse assistant role.
During Covid-19, clinical rotations have been waived, enabling quick employment post course completion.
Course Components:
Blended learning with 43 hours of online training.
35 hours of classroom training, including skills testing and practicals.
After successful completion, you can apply for employment and/or register for the state exam for licensure.
Prerequisites: Students must be 16 years or older. Scrubs and masks are required for in-person sessions. It is highly recommended (though not a prerequisite) to have a Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification card.
