Heart to Heart Academy offers Basic Life Certification Support through the American heart Association. Certification is valid for 2 years and requires re-certification on or before the date it is issued. Basic Life Support (BLS) is a certification that involves 4 hours of training. BLS is a requirement of most clinical health professionals and public safety personnel. It is also requirement for many jobs to include volunteer work, medical/nursing school, lifeguards, coaches, and some teachers. During this training, you will learn basic life-saving skills to resuscitate, and help a person who is experiencing Cardiac arrest, respiratory difficulty and other life threating illness that require immediate medical attention.
