Our Nurse Assistant Training Program is approved by the California Department of Public Health and curriculum meets all federal and State training requirements as it was developed to successfully prepare our students for certification in the State of California. Our CNA program offerings are structured toward a specific end date, so that as long as students adhere to their course schedule, they can have confidence about when they will complete their program training. Multiple starts throughout the year — classes offered every month. Develop hands-on experience at one of our clinical sites with actual patients.

The Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Program prepares the caregiver to provide personal care for the patient in the home setting. This course consists of both classroom instruction and clinical practice which consists of 20-hours of theory, and 20-hours of clinical practicum. Home health aides are certified by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and are employed by home health agencies to provide personal care services under a plan of treatment prescribed by the patient’s physician and surgeon who is licensed to practice medicine in California.

The Home Health Aide certification class offered by Healthcare Science Academy is an in-depth program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a certified Home Health Aide. This comprehensive course provides students with the hands-on experience needed to provide a safe and healthy environment for those receiving care. Healthcare Science Academy is located in California, offering students the opportunity to receive professional training in a convenient location.

The CPR / Basic Life Support certification class offered by Healthcare Science Academy is a comprehensive course designed to teach students the skills necessary to perform CPR and provide basic life support in an emergency situation. This class is offered in-person at Healthcare Science's location in California and is taught by experienced professionals who are certified in CPR and Basic Life Support. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion from Healthcare Science Academy.
