Our Patient Care Technician combo course is offered in three modules: Nursing assistant training (2 weeks), Phlebotomy (4 weeks), and EKG (2 weeks). Students can choose to take these classes one after another or take breaks between courses. After successful completion of the Nursing Assistant module, the student will be eligible to sit for the State of Michigan Nurse Aide Certification Exam. Students will be fully prepared and eligible to sit for the National Certification Exam for Patient Care Technician after successful completion of the remaining modules (Phlebotomy and EKG).
