This intensive, short-term Certified Professional Medical Coder program will help you prepare to enter one of the fastest growing fields in healthcare. You'll gain the knowledge and experience to work as a medical coder in a healthcare setting. In this medical coding course you will learn:

• Medical coding related to the three main code books: CPT, ICD-10-CM Code Set, and HCPCS Level II
• Medical terminology and anatomy

After completion of the online modules and coding instruction you will participate in a practicum. The practicum gives you experience coding 600 actual medical records and is the equivalent to one year of professional coding experience.
