FMCSA-APPROVED CDL ENTRY LEVEL DRIVER TRAINING (ELDT) FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS (H) ENDORSEMENT Individuals who wish to add a Hazardous Materials Endorsement (H) onto their CDL license will need to complete this course before they will be permitted to take their knowledge test for hazardous materials. Upon completion of this course, the results will be submitted to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. Prior to providing any testing services, BMV testing centers will retrieve these results from the FMCSA Training Provider Registry to confirm that the student has completed this course. This course covers the following 13 units for the ELDT Hazardous Materials (H) Endorsement as mandated by the FMCSA: 1. Basic Introductory HM Requirements 2. Operational HM Requirements 3. This program is designed for individuals who have no prior knowledge or experience in tractor-trailer driving and prepares the student for the Commercial Driver’s License Temporary Permit Test, the Ohio Commercial Driver’s License licensing examination, and entry-level employment as a driver in the trucking industry. The student is provided the opportunity to achieve advanced levels of proficiency and confidence through additional hours of training in all phases of the program and additional time behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer unit.

Hamrick School's Commercial Truck Driver class offers students the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful truck driver. The course covers all of the necessary information and requirements to become a qualified commercial truck driver, including topics such as defensive driving, load securement, and basic vehicle maintenance. Upon completion of the course, students will receive their Commercial Driver's License and be prepared to enter the workforce as a truck driver.
