The Nursing program is designated as a Health Manpower Shortage Program; therefore, some residents of Maryland enrolled in this program of study on the first day of the term may be eligible for in-county tuition rates for courses required for program completion.

The A.S. degree in Business Administration prepares students to transfer to four-year bachelor programs in fields such as management, marketing, economics, human resources, or accounting. The College has articulation agreements with colleges and universities in Maryland and West Virginia, and a unique dual enrollment program with Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. Students must always confer with transferring institutions as requirements are subject to change.

The Computer-Aided Design Certificate program is for students who are preparing for a career in construction, architecture, geo-spatial technologies, manufacturing, and other industries requiring computer-aided drafting and design skills.

Hagerstown Community College (Hagerstown) offers a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class in Salisbury, MD. This class provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a CNA, including patient care, communication, and safety. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the Maryland State Board of Nursing CNA certification exam.

The Dental Assistant certification program at Hagerstown Community College is designed to provide students with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to excel in the field of dentistry. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training and clinical experience, allowing students to develop their skills in a real-world setting. Graduates of the program are qualified to work as entry-level dental assistants and take the national certification exam.

The Computer Support Specialist certification program at Hagerstown Community College trains students to become knowledgeable in the field of computer technology, data analysis, and troubleshooting. The program is designed to provide students with the necessary skills to prepare them for entry-level positions in the technology industry. Upon completion, students will be able to manage computer software and hardware, perform system diagnostics, and assist with various IT-related tasks.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license program at Hagerstown Community College provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to become licensed practical nurses. The program includes both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience in nursing homes, hospitals, and other healthcare settings. Graduates of the program are prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) and become licensed as an LVN/LPN.

Hagerstown Community College offers a Cybersecurity certification program that provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to protect computer systems and networks from cyber attacks. The program covers topics such as threat analysis, network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, and digital forensics. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared for entry-level positions in cybersecurity, or for further education in the field.

The Commercial Driver's License Class B (CDL-B) program at Hagerstown Community College is designed for students who want to become professional commercial truck drivers. The program includes classroom instruction, hands-on training, and behind-the-wheel driving experience. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the CDL-B exam and begin their careers in the transportation industry.

HCC offers specialized courses in  veterinary office career training to prepare students to work as a front desk assistant in a veterinary office, a veterinary assistant, or a dog trainer, as well as from a career in an animal rescue shelter. Courses are also provided for the licensed veterinary technicians that need continuing education in order to maintain their license. 

Hagerstown Community College's Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL-A) program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to become professional truck drivers. The program includes classroom instruction, hands-on training, and behind-the-wheel experience in various driving scenarios. Graduates of the program are well-prepared for successful careers in the trucking industry.
