The HVAC certification program at Guilford Technical Community College is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to install, repair and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. This program offers a variety of courses including basic refrigeration principles, electrical systems, heat pumps and more, which provide students with the foundation needed to pursue careers in HVAC. Graduates of this program are eligible to sit for the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification exam, which is widely recognized in the industry.
