Hybrid Certified Nursing Assistant Classes
The Certified Nursing Assistant class offered by Gerald R. Ford Job Corps Center (GFJCC) located in Grand Rapids, MI provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful Certified Nursing Assistant. Students in the class learn about patient care, medical terminology, and infection control. Upon completion of the class, students are eligible to take the state certification exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
In person Medical Administrative Assistant Classes
This is the first level of basic training offered in the Medical Administration series. In the Medical Administrative Assistant training program, you will earn nationally recognized credentials and a state-issued credential/license.
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
- Electronic Health Records Specialist (EHRS) certification
- Billing and Coding Specialist certification
Students should also earn a state-issued learner’s permit and driver’s license upon completion of the program.
