Throughout this program the adult students will learn the role of a CNA. Which include understanding medical terminology, communication skills, basic nursing skills, personal care skills, mental health needs, resident’s rights, preventing infections, and reporting suspected abuse. Labs will offer hands on patient care to prepare the students for competencies necessary to pass the state examination.
