The Nursing A.S. Degree Program prepares students to give competent, safe nursing care to clients in hospitals, nursing homes and other comparable health agencies under the supervision of more experienced practitioners. With experience and further preparation, students should be able to assume increasing responsibility in nursing. The program prepares students to take the examination for registered nurse licensure.
